The clouded yellow butterfly is one of the truly migratory European butterflies and a regular visitor to Britain and Ireland. The caterpillars feed off clover, lucerne, trefoil and leguminous plants. The term 'Clouded Yellow Years' is used to describe the occasional immigration and breeding of unusually large numbers of butterflies during a single summer.

Four-leaf clovers are very rare and are said to bring the holder of the clover good luck! You have to look closely on these horseshoes to find one!
